In my experience which made me what I am today…. A happy satisfied person (most of the time and a non complicated kind.)
Few people look to it in an awe and think of me… “God forgot to bless him”.
Because I choose my life style simple and none complicated without much pomp & show and physical assets accumulation.
Staying simple is difficult to start with because it doesn’t expose you as a big person in society. However It pays you in terms of keeping mind focused. Mind doesn’t deviate here and there like a monkey. It becomes easy to stay alert. You are not easily moved for every item in the world like clothes, watches, cell phones etc. and you continue your life journey on NEED PATTERN. One does not go for accumulation and buying spree. Compulsive behaviour patterns reduce or eliminate over the time. You start focusing on priorities. In fact you’re over all life patterns becomes easy because you have De-Complicated it to your understanding.
Saying is easy following is difficult. It is no magic instead it is a SELF DISCIPLINE.
Being simple is not ordinary and poor instead it is a choice and freedom from complicated thinking..
Let us see few words which we use interchangeably
Ordinary… someone with no distinctive features rather may be dull type. They are also able to make both ends meet. Growth options in life are not there generally.
Poor... When it is not possible to make both ends meet. Basic needs are not met. It displays the life of scarcity and Lacks. It is a wretched life. Social display also unacceptable some time.
I am sure none of us would want to stay in the status of POOR or even ORDINARY. As I said simplicity is a choice. Our spiritual leaders did follow simplicity, a virtue. Even now few of our important Business Leaders stay simple and follow SIMPLICITY. To name Ajim premji, Warren Buffet, Ramcharan das and many more in the current modern times.
Simplicity is not just for saints, swamis but a CHOICE CONCIOUSLY MADE. It will not happen unless someone decided to.
To me it feels….
SIMPLICITY makes one a better person than being a complicated. Growth pattern becomes remarkable. Make a choice today.
